Jarod & Leigh Ann
My husband and I were married in 2012. These were the first flowers I ever made! Our colors were purple and yellow, a nod to our alma mater of Alfred University (where we met and were also married).
My bouquet was all about variety-- different kinds and sizes of flowers, different shades of purple and white. I took liberties with some of the flowers, adding silver stamens and not worrying too much about modeling them after real flowers. My favorites are still the peonies, though!
The bright shades of yellow really complimented their plum dresses! Molly's bouquet featured dahlias and daisies, and Jennifer's had more peonies and anemones.
Boutonnieres & Corsages
I made different flowers for each of the groomsmen, my bridesdude, my husband, and our dads. (All the gals got matching corsages, but in the kerfuffle I didn't get pictures of most of them.)
I pinned a white poppy to a purse that my great grandmother made & my grandmother gave me. My grandmother carried this prayer book at her own wedding in lieu of a bouquet. It sat in a place of honor at our table. Our flower girl carried a pail of silk petals that I decorated with a big yellow poppy and some smaller white flowers.
The Toss Bouquet
Small bouquet in shades of purple & white. And the catapult we launched it with!
